HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) is back with its ninth edition, and exciting developments are underway! On Monday, 29th January, the six participating franchises will participate in the supplementary and replacement draft. This online event will allow the teams to name replacements for players who are either partially or fully unavailable.
During the replacement draft, each franchise will select two players from the Gold, Silver, Diamond, and Platinum categories and one from the Supplementary category. It will ensure that teams have a complete lineup despite any unavailability issues.
The supplementary draft will also allow each franchise to add players to their squads in the third and fourth supplementary pick rounds. It will allow teams to strengthen their rosters and have a backup plan in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
The eagerly awaited ninth edition of the HBL PSL will occur from 17th February to 18th March 2024. The tournament will be held in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The first match will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, while the final will be at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
