The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a significant foreign players bonus for PSL 2025. According to reports, each of the six high-profile overseas players will receive an additional $100,000 from the PCB to ensure their commitment to the tournament.

A PCB official confirmed that the additional funds will cover the salaries of foreign players who have signed contracts for PSL 2025.
For instance, Australian cricketer David Warner has joined the PSL 10 as platinum player with a total contract value of $300,000, of which $100,000 will be paid by the PCB from a special fund, according to PTI.
Increased Salary Cap for Foreign Players in PSL 10
In an effort to enhance the league’s appeal, the PCB has raised the maximum base salary for overseas players in the PSL 2025 draft, which was previously capped at $200,000.
Historically, the highest-paid players in the PSL were Kieron Pollard ($250,000) and AB de Villiers ($230,000).
Allocation from Broadcast Revenue
A few years ago, the PSL governing council established a policy to allocate $500,000 annually for elite player salaries once the central broadcast revenue pool surpassed Rs. 3 billion. The unutilized funds from the previous season have now accumulated, increasing the fund to $1 million, which will be used to cover part of the players’ salaries in PSL 2025.
